We are currently seeking Compositors for our organization. The Compositor works with and collaborates with the 2D Leads to create and complete shots as assigned.

Knowledge of projection, matte painting integration, CG integration, EXR integration, rig removal

2.Digital Matte Painting Supervisor

Matte Painting Supervisor, Features Department

Our studio is currently seeking a Matte Painting Supervisor for our Feature Department.  This could be an excellent opportunity for someone with lead experience who wants to move in to a supervisory role.

Summary of Position

The ideal candidate will be part of the development of a matte painting team.  This department will be responsible for the creation of 2d, 2.5d and 3d matte paintings for feature films and liaise with our Supervisor/ Art Director.  The Matte Painting Supervisor will manage 3D and 2D artists but also be a hands on-the-box matte painter and execute much of the work.  The Senior Matte Painter will also create concept, layout, design the look, and create photorealistic environments to be used as set extensions, replacement pieces, or to enhance elements in live action plates. The Matte Painting Supervisor has a strong foundation in traditional and digital skills such as painting, drawing, photography, lighting, texturing, and compositing.
Responsibilities:

Create concepts and layout for client pitches in order to solidify a look and approach.
Responsible for the design and creation of the 2d, 2.5d, and 3d elements of an environment shot.
Combine photographic, paint, and 3d assets to create and design environments, artwork, sketches, and client look development. Assembling simple composites of this work.
Technically supervise a team in the painting and construction of an environment shot.
Work with the 2D Supervisor and 3D Supervisor to complete additional aspects of the work involving camera animation, image projection, layering, and lighting.
Provide and acquire photographic and other reference materials.
Knowledge and experience dealing with technical aspects of matte paintings including bit depth, color space, separating layers, different resolutions and aspect ratios.
Help identify and recruit additional team of matte painters.
Ambitions to be a Matte Painting Supervisor – Learn to mentor and develop up and coming artists on the team.
Qualifications:

Experience (minimum 5 years) working as a photo real matte painter within film industry required.
Extensive use and knowledge of Photoshop.
Strong traditional portfolio of photography, painting, drawing, and sketching.
Strong knowledge of 3d animation programs such as Maya, 3dsMax, or Cinema 4d.
Strong knowledge of 2d compositing software such as Nuke or After Effects.
Good Knowledge of lighting, rendering and the compositing process.

3.Senior Digital Matte Painter/Environment Artist

Our Hyderabad, India location is currently seeking a Senior Digital Matte Painter for a high profile Feature Project.

Summary of Position:
The ideal candidate is able to create concepts, layouts, and photorealistic environments to be used as set extensions, replacement pieces, or to enhance elements in live action plates. These Digital Matte Paintings can be expected to start from scratch or be assembled from photos, 3D geometry and reference material to match the surfaces of existing live action.  Our Digital Matte Painters must have a strong foundation in traditional and digital skills such as painting, drawing, photography, CG geometry, lighting, texturing, and compositing.

Responsibilities:

Create concepts and layouts for client pitches in order to solidify a look and approach.
Combine photographic, paint, and 3d assets to create and design environments, artwork, sketches, and client look development.  Assembling simple composites of this work.
Assisting and developing the look of a shot or sequence with the Supervision team.
Work in partnership with shader developers, lighters and compositors to ensure shots are delivered to the very highest standard.
Work alongside the Production team to establish schedules and technical requirements.

Experience dealing with technical aspects of matte paintings including bit depth, color space, separating layers, different resolutions and aspect ratios.

Proven experience in creating photo-realistic DMPs within the feature film industry.
Extensive use and knowledge of Photoshop.
Strong traditional portfolio of photography, painting, drawing, and sketching.
Strong knowledge of 3D animation programs such as Maya, 3DsMax, or Cinema 4D (preferred).
Strong knowledge of 2D compositing software such as Nuke or After Effects, (preferred).

4.Commercial VFX Coordinator
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Supporting producers on commercial, design, & editorial workflow, organizing meetings and taking detailed notes, managing client postings, organizing & overseeing client service.
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of industry experience working on commercials or episodes.
Experience with (and learning opportunity for) client interaction, scheduling, data entry for project tracking, organizing meetings, managing I/O, assisting producers and supervisors.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Understanding of Visual Effects and Editorial Workflow
Potential for overtime hours, flexible schedule required.
Shotgun and Microsoft Excel experience is a plus!
Experience in the fast-paced world of commercial production another plus!


5.Nuke Compositors
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in preferably visual effects industry doing compositing. Strong CG integration experience preferred. Must work well in a small team environment and take directions well in a quick turn-around time frame.

Requirements:

3+ years of Nuke Compositing experience from medium to large scale.
Rig Removal, Green Screen Comp, Clean-up, Roto, Driving Comp, Monitor Burn, and Set Extension.
Qualification:

5+ years Nuke Compositing experience as a lead on medium to large scale commercial or TV.
Expert knowledge of CG integration with multi-pass EXR.
Set Extension with Matte painting integration.


6.Maya Dynamics Artists
We are currently seeking Mid – Sr.level Maya dynamics artists that are available asap.

Responsibilities

Create photoreal dynamic effects utilizing Maya
Develop a look and execution methodology for a complex simulation
Comfortable taking direction from the CG supervisor and creative director.
Great at problem solving, and devising creative solutions to complete complicated effects shots

Qualifications

3+ years experience working as a dynamics artist in Film, Commercials, or Episodic Television
Advanced knowledge of Maya Particle Systems
Comfortable with working in the development process on complicated effects.
A portfolio that demonstrates a variety of photo-real dynamic effects.


7.Mid-Sr Level Vray lighters
Summary of Position
The lighter will be responsible for developing looks as well as troubleshooting and executing shot lighting for episodic feature.

Responsibilities

Work inside a pipeline with existing conventions and scripts.
Be adaptable to changes.
Responsible for the photo-real look of the lighting and shading tasks and renders.
Interface with team members for assignments, notes, and changes.
Work closely with the compositors to ensure proper incorporation of elements and that the specific render pass requirements are met.
Attention to daily individual artist assignments.
Complete work within the timeframe allotted.
Texture painting and integration is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications

Extensive production experience using V-Ray for Maya.
V-Ray problem solving, optimization, and analytical experience rendering quality vs. speed.
Experience working in production.
Ability to work within a structured team environment.
Problem solving skills, self starter, adapt to production changes, good working attitude.
You will be working on a PC desktop.


8.Camera Animation Specialist
We are currently looking for a previs animator who is highly adept with creative camera animation for our feature!  We are currently looking for artists with immediate availability.
Summary of Position
The camera animator works closely with the creative director, creating original previs animation based on project storyboards

Responsibilities

Skill in generating creative and engaging camera movements
A sense of drama, scale, and timing
A familiarity with creatively animating cameras for intense action filled sequences
Ability to take direction from the creative director
Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment

Qualifications

3+ years experience working as a Previs animator for commercials, film.
Advanced knowledge of Maya animation and cameras
Highly creative and flexible
Must be comfortable taking direction
A strong reel demonstrating animated cameras for action sequences
Ability to work on-site


9.Mid-Sr Level 3D Modelers

Position Summary:
Modelers create polygonal models from a variety of reference types, including cyber scans, photos, blueprints and concept artwork. Modelers may also on occasion be required to create 3D concept sculpts using Maya,Zbrush or Mudbox. Modelers will ensure that their work adheres to internal standards of detail and construction, and will work with the Texture and Rigging Departments to ensure that their models meet the needs of those Departments.
Additional Info:
Successful applicants show a solid understanding of three-dimensional form, proportion and anatomy, and a high degree of attention to detail in all their work. Models of recognizable objects (celebrity faces, as opposed to generic heads) are preferred as they show the applicant’s ability to capture form and detail from two-dimensional reference. Wireframes of models are required as they show the applicant’s ability to anticipate deformations in the model during animation, as well as demonstrate a logical and economical wireframe layout. Our work is diverse in subject matter, so the applicant should demonstrate competence in a variety of model types, from mechanical (robots, motorcycles) to organic (horses, people) and a variety of styles, from realistic to cartoony.

Responsibilities:

Create organic characters and hard-surface models for Commercials and Feature Films.
Apply groups, material definition and uv’s to models
Create blend shapes for models

10.Mid-Sr Level Texture Artists

Position Summary:
Must be capable of a variety of texture styles from photo realistic to painterly for a wide range of commercial, feature and episodic television projects. The ideal candidate will be critical with his or her own work, must follow reference material exactly, must be organized and have the ability to problem solve, be creative, and work within a team.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high quality digital texture files to lighters and collaborate in testing
Collaborate and bring creativity to a team of artists, lighters and modelers
Meet schedules and artistic guidelines under deadline
Duplicate the reference material and concept art onto your texture maps
Adhere to any specifics a job defines, i.e. call times etc.
Innovate, problem solve, and maintain an efficient, streamlined workflow.
Possess a full understanding of map properties in relation to surfaces and lighting


Qualification:

Minimum of 4 years of prior feature film visual effects experience required
Organic texture experience required
Excellent work ethic
Experience with Maya, Mudbox, ZBrush, BodyPaint and Photoshop
Ability to create high quality texture maps, including supporting maps (specular, displacement, etc).
Knowledge of 3D design parameters with an understanding of lighting and modeling

11.Crowd TD
Responsibilities:
The main focus of the position will be to create crowd simulations, working closely with layout and animation artists to compose realistic flocking of humans and animal crowds

Required Skills:

Strong crowd and layout skills including asset integration, scene setup and running simulations
Experience working with motion capture and/or clip-based animation and a good eye for how humans and animals flock and move
Strong working knowledge of Maya is essential and a familiarity of python is preferred
Experience with Massive including the Maya-to-Massive workflow is a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently as well as a strong communicator and a good team player
Previous film industry experience is preferred


12.Character TD
Position Summary:
The Character Rigging TD designs and implements skeletal control structure and deformations used to track and animate characters and objects. The rigger is also required to provide support to the animators for the duration of the project.
Responsibilities:

Construct and support character and object rigs.
Script repeatable processes.
Work closely with pipeline, modeling, animation and lighting departments.
Aid in production optimization.
Attend departmental and production meetings.

Required Skills:

BS in technical field or equivalent experience in 3D graphics
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests
Scripting ability
Entertainment-specific 3D package proficiency (e.g. Maya)

13.Render Wrangler
Responsibilities:
The main duties of this role encompass all aspects of data transfer. Supporting production with the transfer of data in and out of the facility and monitoring of renders, disk space and archiving etc.
Duties include:

Load on of data from internal and external sources.
Use of FTP clients and external hard drives.
QuickTime creation.
Disk Management and general movement of data around the internal system.
Conversion, resize and rename of various file types.
Backup and archiving of data.
Monitoring / Manipulation of 2D and 3D render queues.
Skills requirements:

Understanding of UNIX/LINUX preferred, but not essential.
Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills.
Good attention to detail and able to follow instructions closely.
Able to work well under pressure. Basic knowledge of film related processes is an advantage.
