The 3D version of Bollywood cult classic 'Sholay', which hit the big screen on January 3, has earned Rs 3.75 cr crore on the first two days. 

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film's box office collection on the first two days. "Sholay3D Fri 1.50 cr, Sat 2.25 cr. Total: 3.75 cr nett.

As producer Sascha Sippy had said in one of his recent interviews, 'Sholay 3D' has been made on a budget of approximately Rs 20 crore, which also includes restoration and conversion.

Sascha is the grandson of late filmmaker G.P. Sippy, who had originally produced Amitabh Bachchan-Dharmendra starrer 'Sholay', directed by his son Ramesh Sippy.
